UI Design for NFT web platform

Overview

What exactly is the NFT Market?

Research

During recent years, the NFT market experienced constant growth. In 2021, the NFT trading market exploded into an estimate of $40 billion with stories of NFT creators making from dollars to millions in an instant!

In an interview with NBC News, a digital artist sold an NFT that earned him $69.3 million.

Currently, the Opensea platform is currently dominating the NFT market with $17 billion in market value and about $5 billion in trading volume according to NBC News.

Learning About Other Competitor

Competitor Analysis

In addition to Opensea, I would like to examine the strengths, weaknesses, and limitations of other competitors. From an e-commerce standpoint, I aim to concentrate on the navigability of the landing page, browsing of NFTs, connectivity to wallets, visiting artist profiles, and product limitations. This approach would help me understand the users' perspectives better.

Empathy Map

Using some user interview research conducted by product designer, I created an empathy map to focus the context in an emotion level for the user

Similarity Matrix

By recruiting 7 users to participate in an Card Sorting experiment, I was able to derive a Similarity Matrix to understand and determine what user want to seek in an NFT landing page/interface

Sketches

To brainstorm, I drafted a few quick sketches for the interface
